Cerec CAD/CAM – Sirona

The Cerec CAD/CAM all ceramic is one of the newest generation of mission-wide and most modern in the world. The whole process of designing (CAD-Computer Aided Design) and manufacturing (CAM-Computer Aided Manufacture) are made completely automatically under the support of the computer. The computer will automatically adjust the bite, the standard touch points for the prosthodontics to ensure maximum functionality of chewing. Therefore, with Cerec ceramic restoration,  patients will eat and chewing comfort as real teeth.

The whole process of doing full restoration Cerec porcelain occurred very quickly with high accuracy and full automatic with Cerec Inlab system- CAD/CAM- of Sirona-Germany (15 minutes/ teeth). The technical process was conducted professionally: Scan models by laser scanner, then the data is put into the computer exactly under the digital 3-D image. Designing restoration by Cerec Inlab-dedicated software. Next is the design completion including select tooth form, the type of porcelain embryo (depending on the color, the size, the location of the tooth) and transfer data via the manipulated embryo lathe cutting ceramics form was programmed.
